                                    Sub: Smart teaching and smart learning

Respected Sir,

I sincerely thank you for selecting me for the Group Study Exchange. Being able to attend classes at the Abs Academy at Spain for two months was a  dream come true. But I would love to relive the dream in our own school too.

Spain is using a very different method of teaching. It is a blend of Science and Arts.

The class room teaching is totally operated through smart classes. Every student is provided with his/her own set of computer. Every task, learning and communication is done via the computer. There is no need to carry books or overburden our shoulders with a heavy school bag.

Three school days of a week follow this regime. The next three days a kind of Gurukul system of teaching is adopted.The students are taken to the lap of Nature and taught in the open air.  

During bad weather they are taken to close buildings of historic or political importance where their class is of observation. We were taken to the Spanish Parliament on one such occasion where we observed a Parliamentary Session. Once back we had to submit a project on our observation.

Studies are real fun there. So I would request you to implement such smart techniques of teaching and learning here.

Dear friend,

Iam fine here i hope u the same.I hope ur parents are fine.I have to tell u about our school.Our school is a very big school.we have enough place to play.we have two grounds.and our school is having very excellent teachers who encourage us .

And our principal is vey supportive in studuies as well as in cultural activities. our class rooms are very plesant and we have everything in our school.

I just want to advise u too join in our school.u will have more fun and also u get lot of knowledge in our school.

Dear Prithwish, 

 

Take my cordial love. Your letter is to hand. I am glad to learn that you are all well. Listen, I have already heard from a friend of ours that you not do not read newspapers. It is a great mistake. You are a student of class twelve. You know that we live in an age of science and technology but if we remain ignorant of the incidents happening in our country as well as in the world, we will be proved unfit for the world.

 

So, I advise you to read newspapers daily in order to be acquainted with the current affairs of the world. By reading newspaper, you can be able to know new scientific invention, economic development and political situation of our country. Without this kind of knowledge, you cannot cope with others. Articles and features on culture, literature, politics, sports, trade and commerce etc. will widen your outlook, remove narrowness of the mind and enrich your thought.

 

So, do not forget to read newspapers daily. I am pretty well and your other friends too are well.  Convey my best compliments to your mother and father and love to Sumi.
